HKP governance

The Hermes Knowledge Platform (HKP) is the governance layer of HermesOS. It defines the rules, confidence levels, approvals and decision history that keep business AI verifiable and under control.

The Engine does the work, HKP holds the rules

Reliable AI is not the one that does the most — it is the one that knows its boundaries, shows the basis for its conclusions and never changes a critical environment without the owner’s permission. HKP is where those boundaries live.

What HKP defines

HKP is a protected governance layer that sets:

  • Trusted sources and confidence levels for conclusions.
  • Approval for critical actions before they are deployed.
  • Decision history, risks and assumptions.
  • The verification date of the data behind a conclusion.
  • Separation of production and experiments.
  • Access rules and configuration protection.

Why it matters

With HKP, key conclusions can include their sources, confidence level and last verification date. Rules, roles, access and integrations are protected from accidental changes, and automations run by the owner’s rules rather than on their own.
